Wild Ahi Tuna caught in the warm waters surrounding the Hawaiian Islands.
Ahi Tuna has mild-medium flavour with a very firm texture. It is sashimi-grade and can be enjoyed raw or cooked.
Sashimi Dish: with sanitized cutting board and knife, cut raw Ahi Tuna into rectangular cubes or strips. Drizzle a mix of soy sauce, grated ginger, and a squeeze of lemon.
Tuna Tataki: press the Ahi Tuna Steaks into an even mixture of black and white sesame seeds to form a crust. Now over high heat, quickly sear the steak on each side for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Remove tuna from the pan and chill in it the refrigerator. when ready to serve, cut the chilled tuna into strips and enjoy with ginger, soy sauce, and citrus fruits.
